Make a difference and volunteer at Green Partnerships!

One of the best things about living in Washington state is the nature. The beautiful parks and trees. The multitudes of trails and forest, and the gorgeous landscapes. Last weekend I volunteered with Forterra in Washington's Green City Partnerships. These partnerships are focus on forest restoration and keeping the natural beauty of Washington for generations to come. 

I had never participated in environmental volunteer work, but was surprised to how fun it was! We planted saplings and tagged their names. We then put stakes around them and fenced it to keep the plants safe. 

Volunteering with Forterra opened my eyes to how we can all keep out towns natural beauty. I would highly recommend environmental service to anyone who might be interested!
